Darryl Buck (co-Founder)From Opaskwayak Cree Nation living the traditional lifestyle, living off the land, and exposed to the nourishing culture of Cree living. Felt at an early age the need to help others, not only family essentially required, but also the community. Using traditional teachings as a guide, knowing to sing for the people and the community with the drum. This provided safety and security in the household and to the people around him.
Passionately embracing his heritage with song and drum at hand while helping people along the way. Strength and healing is found through ceremony for the people, the community of all ages, and children of mother earth. His vision is to bring safety back by providing this round initiative. As an extended hope, singers and other ceremonial people might want to do the same in different parts of the country, cities, towns and communities. |
